*Winter is upon us! Please make sure your child dresses for cooler weather and brings a coat to school every day. Don’t forget the hat and gloves!
*I have attached an online survey on Unity School’s webpage. Please go online and take the survey. This information will help me with future decisions about our school. I’ll send a letter home with students and once you complete the survey, send the letter back with your signature and the students will receive a prize.
*We are still collecting box tops and Campbell soup labels.
*Unity now has a receipt box at Big Johns. Please place your receipts in our box! The money we receive will go towards the purchase of technology for our school.

Congratulations to the following students who had “Pizza with the Principal” on Friday, January 9: Scarlett King –K, Madi Frazine-K, Aaron Ladd-K, Harley Durham-K, Kennedy Brinker-2nd, Audrey Thompson-4th, Jordan Barnett-5th, Hailey Edwards-5th, Lauren Umberger-5th, Devin Heine-6th. These students were chosen out of 100’s of respect tickets that were earned during the month of December.
We have a new Unity Lions Mascot. He will be at all of the ballgames cheering along with the crowd. The school voted on the name of the mascot. Each class submitted a name to be voted on. The following names were submitted from each class:
