Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to inclement weather and hazardous road conditions, Massac Unit 1 Schools will be closed on Monday, January 26, 2026. In line with our previous practices, the district will implement an E-Learning Day. Students should have received instructions regarding their E-Learning activities from their classroom teachers. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher or building administrator. We will re-evaluate the situation tomorrow as we make a decision regarding school for Tuesday. However, we do anticipate a multiple day school closure at this time. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and sincerely appreciate your continued support.
We have also included this link to the latest weather update from the National Weather Service in Paducah, KY. Dangerously cold temperatures will exist through Tuesday in addition to the snow and ice. Please be safe.
